Find your reports in the Reporting Center

A map of every report, what it answers, and who can see it.

The Reporting Center is the front door to all the reports. Open Accounts > Reports > Reporting Center or go to Reporting Center. You need access to the Reports module. The same menu lists each report directly.

Every report is calculated from your posted entries at the moment you open it, so it is always current. Nothing is stored separately, and drafts and voided documents never count.

Trial Balance is in the Accounting menu; see General Ledger and Trial Balance.

The three country reports appear in the Reporting Center only when your company's country matches (India, Denmark or the United States). If your company has no country set, all of them show.

Using a report

Most reports have a Report Filters card at the top with a date range (From and To) or a single date (As of, Date). Change it and click Run Report. They open for the current year to date, or for today. Where your company has branches, some reports add a Branch drop-down.

Branch-restricted roles

If your role is limited to certain branches, the filtered reports show only your branches' figures and say so: "Filtered to your branches (entries without a branch are excluded)". Such a view is not the company-wide statement and may not balance on its own. Some reports are not available at all to a branch-restricted role because a branch slice would be misleading: the Balance Sheet, the VAT / Moms Period Summary, and the GSTR and US sales tax CSV downloads. They show a message explaining why. Ask an unrestricted administrator for them.

Good to know

  • There is no print or PDF button on these pages. Use your browser's print function or copy the figures. A few lists have Export buttons; see each article.
  • A report is only as good as the data behind it. Post your documents and keep periods tidy before relying on one; see Financial years and periods.
