Add and manage customers and suppliers

Keep one record for every business or person you trade with, whether they buy from you, sell to you, or both.

Customers and suppliers are stored in the same place and called parties. Each party has a Party Type: Customer, Supplier, or Customer & Supplier. Invoices, bills and quotations all pick from this list.

Find a customer or supplier

  1. Open CRM > Customers or CRM > Suppliers in the menu. Each shows the parties of that type.
  2. Type in Search parties to find someone by name.
  3. Use the Status filter to show only Active or Inactive parties.

Add a party

  1. Open the list and select Add New Party.
  2. Fill in Name (required) and choose the Party Type.
  3. Optionally set Client Type (Individual or Business), Country, Currency, Email, Phone and an address note.
  4. Under Billing Address, enter the address lines, city and postal code. The state field appears only for countries that use one.
  5. Under Financial Details, set Payment Terms (days), Credit Limit and Opening Balance. Choose They owe us or We owe them for the opening balance.
  6. Select Add Client.

Remove a party

In the list, select the trash icon on the party's row and confirm. The party is moved to the recycle bin; it is not erased straight away. You need delete permission for this.
