Read the library overview
Today's picture of seats, shifts, members, plans ending soon and fees due.
Overview is the first page of the Library menu. It is a live summary for the selected library, and it is the only reporting screen the module has.
What it shows
Four tiles across the top:
- Seats - the total number of seats, with how many are not available (blocked, under maintenance or out of service).
- Students with a seat - memberships that are active now, with how many are starting soon.
- Ending in 7 days - active memberships that end within a week.
- Fees due - the amount still unpaid on current memberships, with how much of the billed total has been collected.
Below the tiles:
- Shifts today lists each shift with its time range, how many seats are taken and how many are free, and a bar for how full it is. A line under it counts members by plan (for example "12 Monthly, 3 Quarterly").
- Ending soon lists each student whose plan ends in the next 7 days, with seat, shift, end date and days left. Select Open memberships to renew them.
If the library has no seats yet, the page tells you to set the number of seats first, with a link to Seats & Shifts.
A morning routine
- Open the Overview and check Fees due.
- Look at Ending soon and renew or follow up with those students in Memberships.
- Check Shifts today to see where you still have free seats.
What the module does not have
The Library module in this version works on memberships. It does not include hourly seat reservations, check-in or check-out, QR check-in, attendance records, a live "who is in the room right now" view, or online fee payment. Occupancy here means which seats are given out for each shift, not who is physically present.
