Restaurant

Tables, orders, the kitchen board, billing and daily reports for a restaurant or cafe.

The Restaurant module runs the floor of a restaurant or cafe: seat a party at a table, take the order, send it to the kitchen, and settle the bill. It has one left-menu group, Restaurant, with four pages: Floor, Kitchen, Restaurant Reports and Tables Setup. Start with the first article.

• Set up floors, tables and the menu

  Create the restaurant branch, add floors and tables, and make sure your menu items exist.

• Take orders from the floor

  Seat a party, add items to the order, and move, merge, split or void orders.

• Send orders to the kitchen (KOT)

  Fire items to the kitchen as tickets and move them from New to Served on the kitchen board.

• Settle a bill

  Close an order, take payment and get the invoice - using the same POS engine as the till.

• Read the restaurant report

  See today's orders, guests, sales, table time, best sellers and kitchen speed.
