Clinic
Run an outpatient clinic - patients, the daily queue with tokens, consultations, prescriptions, billing and reports.
The Clinic module is for outpatient clinics: a patient arrives, gets a token, sees the doctor, receives a prescription and pays. Inpatient care (wards and beds) is a separate Hospital module.
Before you can use it
- The branch must be a clinic. In Branches, add or edit a branch and choose the type Clinic (or add Clinic to what the branch runs). The Clinic menu with Queue, Patients and Clinic Reports appears only while a clinic branch is selected.
- Your doctors are people you add under Professionals and assign to the clinic branch. See Setting up professionals.
- Your role needs the Clinic permissions. View lets someone read medical data, Edit lets them run the clinic and write the clinical record, and Create lets them deactivate or restore a patient. Taking payment also needs the POS Create permission.
- Register and find patients
Register a new patient, search the patient list, and keep allergies and long-term conditions up to date.
- Run the daily queue and visits
Give patients tokens, check in booked patients, and move each visit from waiting to completed.
- Record a consultation and prescription
Take vitals, write the diagnosis and medicines, complete the visit and print the prescription.
- Add charges and settle the bill
Put consultation fees and procedures on a visit and take payment, which posts an invoice and payment through POS.
- Clinic reports
See today's queue, visits completed, new patients, revenue, common diagnoses and visits per doctor.
